Day Camps

We have a strong tradition in combining fun activities with a truly educational experience.

Our Super Summer Preschool Camp is specially designed to engage prekindergarten boys in a creative and stimulating environment. Weekly explorations will guarantee a unique journey of discovery!  US’ Boys Day Camp is the place where your son will experience teamwork, sportsmanship, athletic and non-athletic skill-building, and pride in a job well done. Our Condors Day Camp is an off-campus adventure of daily exciting activities specially designed for rising seventh grade boys. Again, this summer we offer our Coed Day Camp at the end of the camp season. We know kids, and we create an environment where they thrive.

  • Boys Day Camp

    For boys entering grades K-7

    Dates: June 8 - July 17
    Time: 9:00 am - 3:45 pm
    Tuition: $1,480 (6-week session)

In its 94th year, the US Boys’ Day Camp is proving that good things do last! The camp prides itself in being a safe place where we will teach your son teamwork, sportsmanship, athletic and non-athletic skills, and pride in a job well done. We have a strong tradition in combining fun activities with a truly educational experience.

A big part of our success comes because we limit group size, and more stunning than any other fact is that we maintain a 6:1 camper to staff ratio! Counselors are experienced teachers assisted by college and high school students. We know boys, and we create an environment where they thrive.

Counselors consist of experienced teachers combined with college and high school assistants. Our younger staff are chosen due to their accomplishments as students and leaders within their own schools, and many were former campers at the US Day Camp who have chosen to come back and give back to the program they loved as a child.

Campers swim twice each day (instructional and free swim). Tennis instruction is included in the older groups’ programs. Younger groups have a focus on nature and the outdoors. Field trips are educational as well as recreational opportunities. The extensive indoor and outdoor facilities of the Shaker campus provide the primary setting for these exciting, challenging, and fun pursuits. The Boys’ Day Camp is a full six-week program. Because of the limit in group sizes, be sure to register early for this popular camp.

For boys in grade 7, the Day Camp Condors group is an off-campus outreach adventure of daily exciting activities like kayaking, mountain biking, swimming, fishing, hiking, and sports. Field trips include Captains baseball, Cedar Point, and overnights on the Hunting Valley campus.

Extended Day options (before and after camp) and shuttle bus services are available. Campers bring their own bagged lunch and drinks and gather at outdoor picnic tables at lunchtime. Refrigeration is provided.
