This camp offers youth players the chance to see what
hockey is like at the high school level. Players will
compete in drills that mirror what the US hockey team
does during their season. Drills emphasize skating, stick
handling, and shooting. Each session will consist of high-intensity drills that put players in game-like scenarios to improve decision-making and comfort in different game
situations. Players will also get a chance to highlight
their skills during half ice 3v3 games and full ice 5v5
games. The camp will be directed by varsity hockey coach
and News-Herald Coach of the Year Andy Gerow. Other
staff will include coaches from the US hockey program
and varsity team members.
