NEW THE GREAT OUTDOORS
Outdoor adventures await at University School’s Hunting Valley campus and the surrounding Cleveland Metroparks locations. Enjoy outdoor activities such as: mountain biking, creek walking, campfire building, fishing, and swimming. In addition to camping-related activities, boys can anticipate other fun large group games both outside and indoors such as: dodge ball, capture the flag, touch football, and use of the indoor swimming pool. The week ends with a Thursday-Friday overnight.
NEW COED SAILING CAMP
If you like being outside and on the water and want to learn about sailing, this camp is for you! You will learn important beginning boating fundamentals and water safety at the beautiful Mentor Harbor Yachting Club. Experience kayaks, small dinghy sailboats, large sailboats and powerboats on Lake Erie and the protected Mentor Harbor. The week-long camp is run by experienced, certified, professional sailing instructors who will guarantee fun. No boating experience required. Simply bring your lifejacket, sunscreen, and lunch.
NEW COED SCUBA CAMP
Looking for a unique, interesting and fun summer camp experience? Then look no further than Just Add Water’s SCUBA Camp at University School! Scuba Camp is a summer program that introduces campers to the underwater world and teaches them to SCUBA dive. Kids (and parents welcome too) complete the classroom and pool training required to earn their certification. Campers learn about dive safety, equipment, being a good dive buddy, aquatic life, and protecting the environment. Have tons of fun, be active, make friends and learn to SCUBA dive with Just Add Water! Families, adults included, are welcome.
NEW GREEN THUMB GARDEN GURUS
If your child loves the environment and getting dirty outdoors, then this camp is for him or her! US is having its first garden camp for boys and girls who have a Green Thumb and consider themselves Garden Gurus. There will be harvesting, cooking, art, and sustainability projects all centered on the US garden. This camp includes a field trip to other gardens in Greater Cleveland.
