ACCELERATED GEOMETRY

For boys & girls entering grade 10
June 11 - July 13  •  9:15 am - 1:15 pm
 
This course covers inductive and deductive reasoning, area, volume, the Pythagorean Theorem, similarity, congruence, and the properties of lines, angles, triangles, polygons, circles, and geometric solids. It includes an extensive exploration of trigonometry. Students who successfully (B or better) complete this course will move to Precalculus (Accelerated or Honors) in 10th grade. This course requires an application and instructor permission before enrollment can be finalized.


HONORS PRE-CALCULUS
For boys & girls entering grades 10 or 11
June 11 - July 20  •  9:15 am - 1:15 pm

This course covers functions, trigonometry, analytic geometry, sequences and series, mathematical induction, and probability. In addition, students study topics in first-semester calculus including limits, continuity, and the derivative. Students who successfully (B or better) complete this course will move to AP Calculus BC.
